Over the past five years, employees at Colin Biggers & Paisley have volunteered at primary schools located in the City of Logan, Queensland. Our legal practice has continuously supported the Logan community through participation in the Logan reading and breakfast programs.
On Wednesday 25 May 2016, Colin Biggers & Paisley (Brisbane office), in collaboration with the Beacon Foundation, hosted 21 students from Groves Christian College, as part of our signature volunteering initiative, Youth Employment Project (YEP).
In line with the core strategy of the Colin Biggers & Paisley Foundation, to promote and protect the rights of women and children, our legal practice was delighted to host the launch of the Law and Advocacy Centre for Women (LACW).
The Colin Biggers & Paisley Foundation brings together our entire community offering and is comprised of three streams – pro bono legal services, volunteering and charitable contributions. The core strategy of our Foundation is to promote and protect the rights of women and children in Australia and abroad.
Funds raised at the 2015 Supreme Court White Ribbon Day breakfast will help the Women’s Legal Service Queensland set up a new help line.
The Colin Biggers & Paisley Foundation has teamed up with priority community client, Women’s Legal Services NSW, to launch a new pro bono initiative, the Victims of Violence Project.
