INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY 2020 #EachforEqual

March 06,2020
On Sunday 8 March women from around the globe will come together to celebrate International Women's Day and reflect upon how gender equality has changed over the years.

The theme for this year's IWD campaign is #EachforEqual. What does this mean?
#EachforEqual can be achieved through collective individualism. As individuals within a society, we are all an instrumental piece to the entire puzzle. In completing that puzzle, we need to change our individual actions, conversations, behaviours and mindsets  collectively to aspire to a gender equal world, it is a personal choice that will have a positive effect on each neighbour.

On 5 March we hosted a morning tea in our three offices in celebration for International Women's Day. We had three of our inspiring women Partners speak at these events, sharing their personal stories towards the #EachforEqual initiative.

In support of the global collaboration the purple ribbon was worn in representation of women's equality, a colour that has been associated with women and equality since 1908.

We have teamed with TWO GOOD to provide unique granola packs to our people in each office. Two Good is a social enterprise based on the concept of  'Buy One, Give One'. The original idea put forth in 2015 saw that for every meal purchased, Two Good would give a meal to a local women's refuge for domestic violence survivors. Since the beginning, ten years ago Two Good has supplied over 157,000 meals in refuges across Sydney and Melbourne.
