On Sunday 13 October a team of our people participated in the Melbourne Marathon Festival. The team completed different distances raising much needed funds for the Colin Biggers & Paisley Foundation's community partner, the International Women's Development Agency (
IWDA).
Our team was able to exceed their fundraising target, raising $2,053.33
All money raised goes directly to the IWDA, the leading Australian agency focused on women's rights and gender equality in the Asia Pacific Region. IWDA's vision is for a world where every woman and man, girl or boy has equal rights and opportunities.
The Colin Biggers & Paisley Foundation aims to promote and protect the rights of women, children and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We believe in the active participation of our people in the communities around us, both as individuals and as a legal professionals. Our team's fundraising effort for the Melbourne Marathon Festival is an example of their commitment to support our community partners.
