On Sunday 24 July, a team from Colin Biggers & Paisley and Women’s Legal Services Victoria participated in Run Melbourne to raise funds for local community client Women’s Legal Services Victoria (WLSV).
Supported by the Colin Biggers & Paisley Foundation, the team raised an impressive $3,155. Top fundraisers Caitlin Watson (WLSV) raised $845 while Colin Biggers & Paisley Partner, Cathryn Prowse, raised $630.
Run Melbourne is an annual “fun run”. Runners can choose to run 3.5K, 5K, 10K or a half marathon starting at the intersection of St Kilda Road and Linlithgow Avenue and finish within Birrarung Marr, adjacent to Federation Square.
Women’s Legal Service Victoria (WLSV) is a not for profit organisation that has been providing free legal services to women for over 30 years. Specialising in issues arising from relationship breakdown and violence against women, WLSV provides free and confidential legal information, advice, referral and representation to women in Victoria.
The Colin Biggers & Paisley Foundation concentrates its collective effort on women and children to ensure that our community offering has the greatest possible impact. The central objective of the Colin Biggers & Paisley Foundation is to promote and protect the rights of women and children in Australia and abroad.
