Over the past 10 weeks, the Colin Biggers & Paisley Foundation has hosted five students from the Thomas More Law School (TMLS) at Australian Catholic University (ACU), three in the Sydney office and two in the Melbourne office, one day a week each as part of the TMLS’s LAW Pro Bono Program.
The Foundation’s work to address unmet legal need and provide opportunities for the benefit of the community aligns well with the TMLS’s commitment to the pursuit of knowledge, the dignity of the human person and the common good.
“As part of our degree, we have been lucky enough to have gained invaluable experience through our internship at the Colin Biggers & Paisley Foundation. It is exposure to fantastic pro bono programs, such as the one we were able to participate in, that shows how the legal sector is able to assist the community around it. The staff at Colin Biggers & Paisley are so warm and supportive, it was a dynamic environment to be a part of and a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the legal profession and Pro Bono work.” – Carla & Paige (TMLS students from the ACU’s North Sydney Campus)
