SUPPORT FOR CHRISTMAS APPEAL RAISES $19,663 FOR RIZEUP AUSTRALIA
The Colin Biggers & Paisley Foundation is pleased to announce its annual Christmas appeal raised $19,663 for our major charity partner, RizeUp Australia. This money was raised through the final hour appeal and Christmas gift donations.
Every year the Colin Biggers & Paisley Foundation runs a Final Hour Appeal offering the opportunity for our people to donate their final hour of work to our major charity partner. Our people were also given the option of receiving a Christmas gift - a Mabu Mabu hamper, or donating the money that would have been spent on the Christmas gift to RizeUp.
Through these initiatives our people raised $19,663 to assist the families supported through RizeUp's Homes program.
In addition, our people were asked to get involved in RizeUp's Annual Christmas Toy Appeal by purchasing a gift for a child. These gifts were collected in each of our offices and then donated to RizeUp to be distributed across Australia to families and children who may not have been so fortunate over the Christmas period.
RizeUp Australia's incredible work focuses on raising awareness about domestic violence and supporting and empowering women, families and children escaping violent situations.

The $19,663 you raised will provide everything needed for 54 vulnerable children to ensure they have a safe and sound night’s sleep. With the money you raised, we will purchase new beds, beautiful fresh linen in a child’s favourite colours and a pillow for their little heads to find comfort. Not only is it every child’s right to have these things, but for these children at significant risk, it is an essential anchor for their trauma recovery.

Our support for RizeUp will continue this year, with staff continuing to raise funds by participating in major events and fundraisers for RizeUp, as well as volunteering for their Homes program and offering a range of pro bono support.
