The Colin Biggers & Paisley Foundation is proud to support the Women's Legal Services NSW (WLSNSW) with its inaugural Bright Spark Awards 2015.
This event is part of a bigger fundraising campaign by the WLSNSW to address the issue of unreliable public funding. The Bright Spark Awards 2015 will be presented at the inaugural Bright Spark Cocktail Party on Friday 17 July. Funds raised at this event will be used by the organisation to employ an Aboriginal community access worker to support Indigenous women who have been sexually assaulted, in accessing culturally safe services.
The overall strategy of the Colin Biggers & Paisley Foundation is to promote and protect the rights of women and children, and WLSNSW is one of Colin Biggers & Paisley's priority community clients in New South Wales.
WLSNSW is an independent non-profit organisation which provides a voice for women in NSW, and promotes access to justice, particularly for women who are disadvantaged by their social and economic circumstances. The Colin Biggers & Paisley Foundation concentrates its collective effort on women and children to ensure that our community offering has the greatest possible impact. The Colin Biggers & Paisley Foundation aims to promote and protect the rights of women and children in Australia and abroad. We consider all requests for pro bono legal services, professional and general volunteering, community project assistance and in-kind support.
